    Question:

Where's my Firefox bookmarks saved? WhenI buitl my nwe CPU, I had to reformat an HDD to install windows on it. I used my smaller gaming HDD, and kept my 150 GB one that held all of my important files. Anyways, everything's fine, except now Firefox has lost it's bookmarks, despite the fact that nothing's been changed on that HDD.

Firefox preferences, bookmarks and history are saved in %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox (%APPDATA% varies from computer to computer, just enter %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox in Windows+Run (or use CD %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox ) to open it). The bookmarks file in particular is usually in this place:

    %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<random_name >.default\bookmarks.html

Well, the networks maybe different from your home to school, so, is possible your ISP block that content for you, although this is unlikely, as you say that appears the sand clock, which means that your comp is waiting a response, so, is probably a matter of time. try, perhaps, contacting the people who provides you Internet Services.

Apparently once I moved my computer to home from school (for the break) and hooked it up. Now I can't access certain sites that I could before. What I see in the window is just a blank white screen with the little hourglass showing that it's supposed working on it. I know the site isn't down. Any suggestions?

It looks like a problem in your ISP (won't resolve DNS), which I'm afraid you can't do much to fix, but try Firefox anyways. You should use MSIE only for the few broken sites that won't work in other browsers and you trust.
